Safe management of land-resource potential of agricultural enterprises when implementing innovative strategies

Purpose. The purpose of the study is to generalise modern approaches to the safe management of land and resource potential of agricultural enterprises when implementing innovative strategies.
Results. The research in the article focuses on the analysis of the functioning of various forms of management in the agricultural sector. Each of these forms has its advantages and disadvantages, but performs an important role in the production of agricultural products. The current state and trends in the use of agricultural lands, which make up 49 % of all lands in Ukraine, are analysed. The majority of agricultural land is arable land – 79 % of the total amount of agricultural land, these lands play a significant role in the economy of Ukraine, because they are the base for the production of agricultural products. It has been proven that there is a significant need for innovative development of agricultural production, especially in the conditions of a growing global population and a decrease in available natural resources. One of the key success factors is effective land use management. Innovative land use management strategies are based on the principles of resource conservation and reproduction of soil fertility. This means the use of the latest technologies and methods that ensure optimal use of land resources and increase productivity while preserving natural fertility. For example, the use of irrigation systems taking into account weather conditions and the needs of crops makes it possible to use water resources efficiently and reduce their consumption. Precision farming technologies, such as geographic information systems and agricultural drones, allow optimising the spatial placement of crops and the use of fertilisers. Growing crops with a high level of resistance to stress factors and using biological methods of pest and disease control can help reduce the use of chemical protection agents and maintain soil fertility.
Scientific novelty. The novelty consists in updating the impact of innovative strategies on the land resource potential of agrarian enterprises in the context of modern challenges of food security and land reform.
